Ian Scutt – Chair, AgLink International | CEO, AgLink Australia

Ian Scutt has been the CEO of AgLink since 2017.

After completing a Bachelor of Rural Science at the University of New England in 1988, Ian began his career as an Agronomist with UMT Hopkins in Tasmania. In 1992, he joined Serve-Ag, Tasmania, where he held various roles, including Agronomist, Southern Regional Manager, Marketing and Projects Manager, and Business Development Manager.

Between 2008-2017, Ian was appointed Chief Executive and Director of Serve-Ag.

Ian served as Director of AgVita Analytical between 2014-17 and Ag Technology business, The Yield between 2017-2024. He is currently a Director of Agsafe and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dean Fahselt – CEO, AgLink Canada

Dean joined AgLink Canada as CEO in 2019, bringing over 30 years of experience in ag retail.

He began his career in Southern Alberta with Lakeside Fertilizer, then joined Alberta Pool in Red Deer and Rosalind. In 1998, he moved to Vermilion, Alberta, where he became a co-owner of Webb’s Crop Services and co-founded Agro Guys Inc in Galahad.

Dean’s entrepreneurial background has led to leadership roles and investments in several successful agricultural businesses across Canada, with a focus on supporting grower success and profitability.

Rogerio Cabral – International Relations Director, AgriRede (Brazil)

Rogerio is the co-founder and Director of Agro Tech, an independent ag retail business in northern São Paulo state, Brazil.

He holds a Bachelor of Agronomic Engineering from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University.

Rogerio began his career at Monsanto as a sales representative for ag retailers in northern São Paulo from 1999 to 2003. He later founded Agro Tech and joined AgriRede in 2017, where he now leads international relations, focusing on global alliances and market expansion.

Jim Fargo – President, Integrated Agribusiness Professionals (USA)

Jim has served as President of Integrated Agribusiness Professionals (IAP) since November 2018.

He holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Phoenix College in Arizona.

From 1996 to 2016, Jim worked at Centennial Ag Supply, a family-owned independent retailer in Colorado, where he advanced through a series of operational roles to become Executive Manager of Crop Protection. He then joined Nutrien Ag Solutions in Loveland, Colorado, as Senior Manager of Safety, Health and Environment, overseeing operations across 600 retail outlets in the western United States.
